We will miss seeing that beautiful big lifesaving thing in the sky
Dear Bronson Air Ambulance 🚑Service 🚁,
I am writing to you because I live in the Skyrise Elderly Housing building. Often you fly right by my patio or bedroom windows. I will be moving to Washington DC at the end of the month. I just wanted to let you know that myself and my dog “Hiccup,” will miss your flight pattern and crew. Every time Hiccup hears you coming in for landing. He grabs his ball and runs in the bedroom, jumps up onto the bed and runs across it and sits on some totes that I set beside the other side of the bed by the window. He watches you come in and shakes his head and, I can’t call it a growl, but he makes a sound from his throat with the ball still in his mouth. It is so hilarious.
But I just wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed watching you fly by our home, and that we both are going to miss you so much. We are the balcony that is always lite up with the big flag hanging from the top of the patio. I was a member of the TTT program that you used to have as I was a EMT for 16 years on the Marcellus Fire and Ambulance Service. I did get one flight ✈️ in the fall one year and got one glance out of the window. How beautiful and it was. Then back to work on the patient we had. Thank you so much for what you do for all of us.
As much as I would LOVE to ride with you again, I hope that I never have the need to. I love flying and thier are many days that I wish I would’ve been able to stay working on the Fire and Ambulance Service. I took my EMT-S program and passed that and also took my FF 1 and passed that. I just wish that I would’ve been able to continue on and maybe someday may had been a flight nurse.
Thank you again and we will miss seeing that beautiful big lifesaving thing in the sky.
Your friends, Vickie Halifax & “Hiccup” too
