Recently, Shannon Mantione agreed to be the interim manager of the general surgery office. She always went out of her way to ensure members of the practice were comfortable, safe and had the supplies needed to do their job. Shannon maintains a positive attitude and has been able to create relationships throughout the Bronson system. During her time as interim manager she coordinated with the office nurse, Bronson’s learning center/nurse educators, and several other departments to improve work flow for nursing staff.

She is innovative and creative, yet relies on evidence to make informed decisions. Shannon cares for patients and coworkers alike with a kind and compassionate attitude. Her diverse nursing background and specialty certifications make her an asset to the team, which can be noted in the ways she continually provides education and support to all. We are lucky to have such an amazing role model!
