Today we recognize Ellyn Mingus from Supply Chain for patience, professionalism, teamwork and dignity and respect.

Ellyn is a supply chain employee who takes her job seriously and works above-and-beyond for the organization.  But what brought her to our attention as a Winner Wednesday candidate is the amazing and caring work that she does mentoring students from the Calhoun Intermediate School District (CISD) here at BBC.  These CISD students ‘shadow’ at BBC three days a week as part of a curriculum designed to teach general job skills, strengthen social skills, and build confidence.  Ellyn frequently works with students and shows great patience, teaches enthusiastically, and challenges the students to grow.  Her interactions are friendly, genuine, and she shows great professionalism as she introduces these young students to other staff while working across BBC.

Congratulations to Ellyn for demonstrating ‘exceptional care experiences’ – and providing a great learning environment for our student-guests from CISD.
