This care went above and beyond anything I would have expected.

I am writing the story to recognize Heather Tobin speech pathologist.
In November my cousin Marie Bartoletti had a middle cerebral artery CVA and was a patient at Bronson hospital. It was my privilege to be Marie’s caretaker during her recovery. Following discharge she was referred for outpatient speech to Bronson rehab on ninth street and was cared for primarily by Ms.Tobin.
Being a healthcare professional myself I had high expectations for the care she would receive. This care went above and beyond anything I would have expected. Heather was not only a highly intelligent and experienced professional, she showed great care, patience, concern and love for my cousin in the way she interacted with her. She was not only knowledgeable in helping her obtain skills at speech but she was also a highly effective holistic counselor in helping Marie to navigate the difficulties that she would have in returning to her former life. We will always feel indebted to her for the progress she has made.
