They always listened to what Dylan was going through

My son Dylan is 12-years old. This summer, he had to have chest surgery at Bronson Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Michael Leinwand was great. He explained everything we should expect during the surgery. I was nervous because of the type of surgery it was.

After the surgery, Dylan required a lot of attention. The recovery was very painful, so he had to stay overnight for a few days. The nurses were very nice. They always cared about how he felt and always tried to accommodate us whatever was needed. Whenever we called them, they were right there, even during the night. They always listened to what Dylan was going through. It was so nice to have that kind of support.

Today, Dylan is doing great and the doctors said the speed of recovery has been very good for his age.
