The teamwork, skill, support and compassion was spectacular

Today we recognize exceptional coordination of care during a very challenging patient emergency.

Without providing great detail, Bronson Battle Creek recently had a patient who coded multiple times over several hours. Exceptional care and outstanding coordination was provided by multiple departments, including C2, C3, Critical Care, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Laboratory, our Emergency Department Red Team, and both Intensivist and Hospitalist services. The names of those involved are too numerous to list here – but the teamwork, skill, support and compassion displayed in caring for both the patient and family were described as ‘spectacular’ in the nomination.
