The team’s quick response is the reason the employee received the care she needed

Naiila Boyd, EVS Associate, was on break with another EVS Associate when the employee began struggling to finish sentences, was experiencing pain in her head and leg. The associate then slid out of her chair. Naiila immediately identified the symptoms of a potential stroke. She requested the help of nearby EVS Associate, Athalia Simpson. They contacted the EVS Coordinator, Michaela Thompson who quickly responded with a wheelchair to get the employee to the ER. Security was also called and Security Officer Jonah Havilar quickly arrived to help. This team identifying the symptoms of a stroke and quick response is the reason the employee received the care she needed.
