The program was a great experience for young and old alike
The World of Food and Books – a community program hosted by the Bronson Wellness Center this summer, was a great experience for young and old alike. I, as an adult, learned so much. They held our attention the whole time. I would recommend anyone participate in these classes with the wellness center.
About Around the World With Food and Books
Funded by the Bronson Health Foundation and led by Bronson health educators Chris Flood and Isabel Hinton, this five-session program took participants on “trips” around the world. Children and parents learned about different cultures and tasted culturally-unique foods. 102 kids between the ages of 5-13 participated with their families.
