We are proud of Blake Hinton, a patient safety assistant at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital for winning the Safety Hero Award! Patient safety assistants at Bronson are with patients one-on-one for 12 hours continuously, so they get to know their personalities and mannerisms. When the patient Blake was caring for suddenly became agitated, he immediately shared his concerns with the nurse. Because of Blake’s quick action, the patient received the lifesaving medical care he needed.
