The hallway was lined with doctors and nurses applauding me going home

Christina Carpenter , Patient

I was admitted on Saturday, April 10th, I was very sick with COVID-19 and scared. I could not have my husband there because they had just changed to no visitors. The first night I was there the nurse gently took my hand and looked me in the eyes and said “you are going to live”. It made me feel so comforted because that first night I wad so scared. These nurses work tirelessly and sometimes I bet they wonder why they do it. I cannot express how impressed I was with the type of care I was given. When the nurse wheeled me out when I was discharged the hallway was lined with doctors and nurses applauding me going home. It was the most touching moment and just impressed me that much more. Keep up the excellent work, it has not gone unnoticed!!!
