The girls were all excited to make healthcare “less scary” for their peers
Mattawan's Girl Scout troop shared their sketches with Bronson's Rehab team before painting the ceiling tiles in the pediatric rehab space.
Recently, a group of Mattawan Girl Scouts came up with a great idea to paint ceiling tiles in the pediatric area of Bronson Rehabilitation Services (located within the Bronson Athletic Club). The girls thought this would be a great way to help make the treatment spaces more welcoming and less clinical. Recently, they stopped by the club and presented their sketches to the Bronson team! In the next few weeks, they will start painting the actual ceiling tiles with their artwork.
Not only were the girls able to show off their artwork and help patients, the team at Bronson Rehabilitation Services taught them about a few of the treatments kids receive while in rehab. The girls were all excited to make healthcare “less scary” for their peers and learn something fun at the same time!
