The ED has a rock-star team

My son was a patient in the BMH ED recently. A bug flew in his ear and was stuck! He was screaming and in serious pain. Mike RN and Dr. Walbridge were fantastic! Mike positioned my son so he was comfortable for the exam. He was calm and reassuring and even lightened the mood when he said “oh! the bug just waved at me” while examining his ear. It is very rare that you can walk out of the ED completely cured and smiling- but we did! Special thanks as well to the child-life specialist who provided a welcome distraction. The ED has a rock-star team!!!
