Thanks to Trishoni Newhouse for her compassionate and generous dedication to helping others

Jim McKernan, Bronson Employee

Today we recognize HelpNet psychotherapist Trishoni Newhouse for being accountable, showing interest and empathy, and compassionately providing timely and convenient services.

Trishoni was in Las Vegas on October 1 for a family wedding – the day of the mass shooting at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. After learning  of the shooting that morning, Shoni attended the wedding . . . and then volunteered her services with the emergency response team. She joined a team of therapists (and comfort dogs) and served with the grief counseling team to help people manage the significant trauma associated with the events. Shoni has shared her story with our HelpNet team and reports that in the midst of the sadness and chaos, there were beautiful stories of human generosity and compassion.

Thanks to Trishoni Newhouse for her compassionate and generous dedication to helping others. And thanks to staff across Bronson who give their best daily to create a safe and comforting environment for our patients and families.
