Thanks Dawn for your proactive support of staff and our patients

Today we recognize BBC charge nurse Dawn Barnes for problem solving, communication, and a commitment to exceptional care experiences.

Recently, BBC had a planned shutdown of our medical vacuum units. In preparation, we delivered multiple types of portable suction machines to the inpatient floors.  Dawn Barnes is the night charge nurse in critical care and she identified that each unit operated just a bit differently.  To ensure the safety of our patients, Dawn provided education on operation of the various suction devices to the other charge nurses. The charge nurses then went back to their units and taught their staff.  Dawn’s proactive communication and teaching helped support the team – and assured a high quality and service experience for our patients across BBC.

Thanks Dawn for your proactive support of staff and our patients.  And thanks to all across Bronson who are accountable problem solvers on behalf of the patients and families who trust their care to us!
