Thank you Mel, for being such a strong advocate for your patients

During my second pregnancy at 37 weeks pregnant I had an evening where I did not pass my kick counts. This was the first this had ever happened and of course I was nervous. My doctor sent me to triage to be monitored. I was greeted by Mel B., our OB triage nurse for the evening and she quickly explained what would happen while I was there and what they were looking for. She also advocated for an ultrasound before I was discharged based on what she had seen on the monitor. As a fellow nurse (with no OB knowledge!) and a Bronson employee myself, I just want to say thank you to Mel for being such a strong advocate for your patients and for taking the time to explain everything. I am so proud to work for an organization where the nurses are comfortable and confident in being strong advocates for their patients! Thank you, Mel, for setting my mind at ease during my visit!
