Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure that I was OK
I was at Bronson in the burn unit in August-September 2015. I was transferred there after my hometown hospital diagnosed me with Steven Johnson’s Syndrome. I was so scared to be transferred over an hour away from my family. I was scared that the hospital I was in was unable to take care of me. I am so glad they realized I needed more help than they could offer. I am so glad that I was greeted by such a great group of dedicated nurses, doctors, and student nurses that had the confidence that I was going to get better. I had several nurses checking on me daily even if I wasn’t on their rotation. I had people who stopped in to talk to me at night when I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t have asked for better people. I said Thank you before I left and should have written this a long time ago. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure that I was OK. Thank you for the excellent support that I received. I wouldn’t be here without you.
