Thank You Dr. Kerschner, You made such a difference

No one wants to get a call that their family member is in the emergency department. I received that call a few weeks ago and a close family member needed me to come because she thought she was having a miscarriage. It’s awful to hear and feel the devastation, that news brings. I went to Bronson Methodist’s Emergency Department and was there while she was being seen by Mark Kerschner, MD. I watched her face as Dr. Kerschner spoke to her turn from complete devastation to grief but acceptance. His compassion and bedside manner brought tears to my eyes because of the positive impact I saw on her face. The change in her mindset was such a relief. So Thank You Dr. Kerschner. You made such a difference.
