Thank you all for keeping baby Addison and myself healthy

I wanted to take a moment to reach out and express my gratitude for the care I received while admitted following the birth of my daughter. I’m absolutely stunned at just how incredibly amazing the staff is on the 4th and 5th floors.

There are not enough words to express the level of gratitude I feel for those who were involved in my care during my admission.

Kathy, RN and Cade the extern were absolutely amazing before my delivery monitoring me and easing my anxieties to the best of their abilities.

Kathy specifically will be a nurse who I will forever be in debt too. She was there for me during the preparation for my emergency c-section and throughout. She calmed me down and took the time to be present emotionally for me.  She is absolutely one of the most empathetic nurses that I have ever met .

Jeanie RN (nights ) Melina RN (days) and Kary PCA (nights) ALSO were absolutely amazing.  They advocated for me when I couldn’t myself , and even went out of their way to find my missing labs that got lost in the tube system.

I’m sure I gave everyone a run for their money with my high level of anxieties (I’m still slightly embarrassed about), throughout this experience. But every single of of them went out of their way in one way or another for me, and for that I’m extremely grateful.

Also worth mentioning… Liz, Heidi, Nancy and a few others I’m sure I may have accidentally missed , all rockstars .  Every single of these names mentioned clearly chose nursing for the right reasons, and you can tell just how passionate they are about their careers.

Thank you all for keeping baby Addison and myself healthy, “calm” and holding my hand while I trembled in fear over having silly labs drawn.

You’re all amazing, and I wish there were more I could do or say to show the level of appreciation I feel for you all.
