She made my life so much easier

Nicole VanPutten, Patient

This is a very simple, but very important compliment. I need an x-ray on my hand and I am waiting for my primary care doctor to send an order to Bronson for said x-ray.

I called the main hospital outpatient testing number to check to see if the order had arrived. I talked to Shelagh and she very kindly told me to have my doctor fax it to her directly and she would let me know when it arrived or she would call me at the end of the day if it did not arrive. These promised calls usually never happen and I understand that people get busy in healthcare because there are a lot of people who need service, so I went about my day and figured I would get my x-ray the next day in the morning. At the end of the day I got a voicemail from Shelagh letting me know she had checked and the x-ray order had not come in yet, so I should not come in first thing in the morning because the order was not yet there.

Usually it is the patient who has to call over and over again to check on the status of things, but in this case your employee did exactly what she said she was going to do and it made my life so much easier. Thank you!
