I am a changed man since meeting and receiving Nutritional Counseling from Julia Ridenour R.D. On January 1st of 2016 I weighed 345 lbs.!!! Today is October 13th of 2016 and I weigh 285 lbs. and dropping!!! With her information, support, and compassionate bedside manner it has been much less of a challenge to adhere to my new, healthier eating habits and I continue to lose about 2 lbs. per week. Ms. Ridenour advised me to eat smaller, balanced meals about every 3 to 4 hours rather than continuing to eat in an unhealthy manner such as eating 3 huge meals per day that consisted of unhealthy and unbalanced contents. She also advised me to not fast for more than 8 to 9 hours overnight in an effort to keep my blood sugar more level and stable. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes about 4 months ago and never had to take a single medication for it. I am a diet controlled diabetic now with an A1C that is 5.4 and 106, NORMAL!!! I am forever grateful to Julia for everything she has done for me and I intend to stay in touch with her and see her on a regular basis as I work towards my goal weight of between 200 and 225 lbs.
