Dr. Siddiqui went above and beyond.
“He listened to all of my concerns and he made sure I was taken care of exactly how I wanted. He was a great listener.” – Rebecca Sackitt
When a pain in her side didn’t subside after six months, Rebecca Sackitt of Battle Creek decided to see her primary care doctor in hopes of finding a solution. After assessing her symptoms, Rebecca’s doctor referred her to Dr. Mahmood Siddiqui of Bronson OB/GYN – Capital Ave who recommended she have a single-site total hysterectomy.
“I chose Bronson for my procedure because they are good doctors and I trust them. Everyone was so helpful and I never felt like I was a bother or a burden to anyone. I even became friends with one of the nurses.”
Feeling anxious about having surgery with only a limited amount of time available for healing, Rebecca had a few concerns about a procedure like this. She expressed her worries to Dr. Siddiqui as well as her treatment preferences.
“Dr. Siddiqui went above and beyond. He listened to all of my concerns and he made sure I was taken care of exactly how I wanted. He was a great listener.”
Rebecca had an appointment with Dr. Siddiqui near the beginning of November where he explained the procedure and what she could expect. The single-site total hysterectomy procedure is minimally invasive causing less pain and allowing for a faster recovery. The day after Thanksgiving, Rebecca headed to Bronson Battle Creek for outpatient surgery. Everything went as planned and she was back to work on December 10.
“I would recommend Bronson to anyone who needs any kind of surgery,” Rebecca shared. “They really care about their patients. Every time I come to Bronson it is always a pleasant experience.”
Since the surgery, Rebecca’s life has changed significantly. She was anemic most of her life and felt like she was running on empty. Now she has much more energy and is finding that her mood has improved as well.
Today, she says, “I’m so happy. I’m glad I chose that route, doctor, and procedure.”
