Paul is a man of high integrity, positive energy, and always brought a sense of confidence and calm to our work
Today we recognize Bronson senior vice president of information technology Paul Peabody for supporting the team, building trusting partnerships, and being a problem solver.
Many of you may not know Paul Peabody, but he has been an extremely important leader and resource to Bronson Battle Creek. As chief information officer for Bronson, Paul led the implementation of EPIC here at BBC. Our shared electronic medical record is one of the key distinctions for the Bronson system and brings great benefit to our clinical staff and patients daily. Paul’s commitment to EPIC and BBC included facing a massive snowstorm during our GO-LIVE (many of you will remember that lovely storm) . . . he even slept at the hospital in the early days of EPIC to be fully available. Paul has been a contributor on our Bronson Battle Creek senior leadership team for several years – providing me with solid ideas and advice. And most recently, Paul was a catalyst for our new executive rounding PILOT – providing resources and expertise as I and other leaders began using technology in our regular rounds with patients and staff. Paul is a man of high integrity, positive energy, and always brought a sense of confidence and calm to our work at BBC.
Paul retires from Bronson this month and joins his wife on the west coast. Thanks to Paul for his advocacy and friendship – and for helping BBC as we seek to become the very best community hospital in Michigan!
