Outstanding care!
I am so impressed with the top notch care I received from Bronson while undergoing a TEE Echocardiogram and subsequent Pulmonary Vein Isolation in the Cardiac Catheter Department. From the moment I arrived at Bronson everything ran like a well greased wheel, all players knowing exactly what their part was and extending to me reassurance, true interest and quality attention.
Dr. Joel Reinoehl, my electrophysiologist was as awesome as ever. He exudes such competency and knowledge along with an outstanding bedside manner like no other Doctor I have ever met. The day of my TEE, my nurse Kim was caring and attentive and got me off to a great start with sound advice and preparation for the following day’s PVI. I faced my PVI with apprehension but my Nurse’s Christy and Adam couldn’t have been better with helping me feel calm and attending to every need possible. From prepping me for the procedure and then caring for me after until my transfer to the cardiac floor, Christy and Adam were right there every step of the way. They showed such confidence in everything that needed to be done as well as humor that kept me smiling during a time I really didn’t feel like doing that. With a last minute cough by me that opened up a groin incision leading to a bleed, Christy remained calm and collected which helped ease my fear of what had just happened. Once up on the Cardiac floor, I was attended to by Brenda, my nurse, and Janelle, my aide. Both of them continued to give me quality care and attention with cheeriness and reassurance.
I cannot say enough good things about Bronson Hospital and how it is obvious that the staff is well trained and make the procedures I underwent so much less challenging for the patient. I couldn’t have done it without the players I named above. THEY WERE ALL AWESOME and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
