Now, my mother is 96 years old and we’re both still volunteering

Judy Brown , Volunteer

My mother, Nervia Tripp, started volunteering at Bronson Battle Creek before I did. She worked at one of the cereal plants for 40 years until she retired in 1983 and needed something to do. When my husband died in 1999, I decided to join her. Now, my mother is 96 years old, and we’re both still volunteering. We love it so much!
