You have a hidden gem here in the wound clinic, and her name is Nicole Brown
Nicole Brown has been a wound care registered nurse at Bronson for almost eight years and a Bronson employee for more than twenty. I have had the privilege of working with her for the past three and a half years, and I just want to acknowledge the extreme importance of her role here in the wound clinic. In the past three years alone since I have worked here, we have had 4 different managers and 2 different program directors. Without Nicole in this clinic, I truthfully do not know how this clinic would have survived the multiple changes it has been though. She has selflessly stepped up every time a manager has left and taken on the extra work load that comes with not having a manager. It is her knowledge and expertise of this clinic that every new person seeks out and learns from. She educates, trains and manages the areas that others of us do not even know exist so that myself and my co-workers, and especially our patients, have not had to feel the burden of all of the transitions that have taken place.
I love my job, and I love this clinic, and I am extremely grateful for people like Nicole Brown who has represented Bronson in such a positive light. She makes me proud to work with her and proud to be a Bronson employee; and on behalf of myself and my co-workers, I just wanted you to know that you have a hidden gem here in the wound clinic, and her name is Nicole Brown.
Nicole Brown is a wound care nurse at Bronson Battle Creek. She is the recipient of the Hazel Latondress Impact Award, and was recognized during the 2022 Nursing Excellence Celebration.
