It was an honor and privilege to be able to donate 50 oz of breast milk to the Bronson Hospital Mothers’ Milk Bank
Knowing how truly important breast milk is for babies and the need for donated milk to help those precious babies while they are waiting for their mother’s breast milk to come in after birth, I wanted to be able to donate to this cause. After giving birth at Bronson in 2018 and 2021, both of my babies were in need of a few ounces of donated breast milk to help fill their bellies while we were waiting for my milk supply to come in. I saw first hand how this donated milk helped my son in the hour after drinking a couple ounces. It was the first time he slept restfully for more than an hour after being born. This past year I was able to produce more milk than my baby girl could consume, so it was an honor and privilege to be able to donate 50 oz of my breast milk to the Bronson Hospital Mothers’ Milk Bank for families in need.
