I’m in better physical condition now than I have been in over five years

I want to extend my gratitude, yet again, to the physical therapists at Bronson’s  Physical Rehab facility on Centre Rd in Portage, MI, in particular, to Marc and Amanda. I had a total right knee replacement on November 5, 2021. I began physical therapy on November 9. Having had my left knee replaced in May 2021 with great physical therapy following at the same location, I knew what to expect.  However, my right knee didn’t progress exactly the same as my left and I often felt discouraged. The expertise and compassion of Marc and Amanda soon had me moving forward. I have to admit, I sometimes dreaded physical therapy- not because anyone hurt me but because of the hard work required of me. But Marc and Amanda encouraged me and taught me things I could do at home to continue to manage my post-surgery pain, improve my flexibility and mobility and I always felt better when I left therapy. Now, as I see my time in PT coming to an end, I dread not being able to continue my twice-per-week sessions.  I appreciate the surgeon, Dr. Joe Burkhardt for his expertise and also the importance of having an expert PT following. I believe I’m in better physical condition now than I have been in over five years – thanks to these medical professionals.
