I’d been hoping that Matt would someday return to Vicksburg

Dr. Matt Miller grew up in Vicksburg. I rotated with Matt as a medical student in 1993 and as a third year resident in 1998. I was really impressed when Matt, just a third year medical student, made a diagnosis of a rare condition that most doctors never see and just read about in textbooks.

We have kept touch over the years, and I’d been hoping that Matt would someday return to Vicksburg. I was happy to hear he had decided to return to the area.

It’s great being able to work together again. I’ve already heard a few patients tell him, “I remember when you were this high!” (pointing at their waist).
