I would recommend delivering a baby at Bronson to anyone
I came into the hospital on 12/21/21 around 2200 and delivered my baby at 0137 on 12/22/21. I chose Bronson Methodist after having a bad experience at my own workplace with my last delivery.
I was unable to have an epidural due to a connective tissue disorder I have. The L&D nurse I had that night was so helpful with ideas to help manage my pain. She was constantly in my room helping me. Dr. Deatsman and Dr. Dempsey (a resident) delivered our little baby boy. They were both so kind and helpful through it all.
All of the nurses I had on mother-baby were very kind as well. I wish I wrote every nurse’s name down but I believe it was Nikki, Sara, and Rebekah (who was training). They were so polite the whole time. It was a nice change from the experience I had delivering my first baby. Everyone I came in contact with was kind and answered any questions I had.
I know this is a very trying time for people working in healthcare and especially for nurses. I am a nurse myself and I know how burnt out most are. I never once sensed any frustration with any of the nurses. I would recommend delivering a baby at Bronson to anyone. The whole team works great together and they all had such positive attitudes. I never once felt like I was a burden to them.
