I would DEFINITELY recommend Bronson as a location for great customer service AND care to others.
This summer, my 19-year-old son had knee surgery – the same surgery he’d had 15 months prior on the same knee in another state. Needless to say, he wasn’t thrilled. But the surgeon we chose seemed very confident that he could repair the damage, successfully, and since it was a limiting injury (torn meniscus), there was no choice. Surgery was to take place at 8:30 am with us arriving at the hospital at 6:00 am. We came to Bronson.
From the moment we arrived, the whole process was smooth, effortless and clearly focused on us as “customers”. The staff was professional, but friendly. The process was explained with an “open to questions” attitude. The surroundings were so “un-hospital-like” – an atrium, windows, plants, comfortable seating that was close by but didn’t give the impression of being on top of others. We were given a beeper, not just for notification of the outcome, but for messages along the way on our son’s progress. We were kept informed, and yet not overwhelmed or kept at arm’s reach. We even felt comfortable enough, during the 2+ hour surgery, to leave the waiting area and get something to eat, knowing we were going to be easily reached.
Once surgery was over, we were brought back to see our son in recovery. Again, the nursing staff was helpful, available but not intrusive, giving us time and space with him. And once we were ready to leave, the valet parking service had already been notified, so our car was waiting for us, running and with the a/c running so it was cool inside, in a great location for our son to maneuver into the car.
