I thank Bronson for saving my life and my daughters life
20 years ago today (Dec 2nd) my daughter was the 1st micro preemie born in the new hospital weighed 1 lb oz and 11 1/2 inches by Dr. Lavery she and wasn’t supposed to be born till February 18. I was in the hospital for 5 days prior due to HELLP syndrome and getting labs every few hours to check my liver and platelets but at around 11pm they came in and said it’s time to we can’t wait any longer. So, my Mom suited up for the emergency C-section. She was born 2 minutes after midnight!! And, here she is today! Still my pink lizard as the neonatal pediatrics doctor called her — at Bronson Methodist Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care.
She is in her 2nd year of college and still a fighter! She is 4’10 and 90 lbs…without any medical issues from being preemie other than asthma from being perfectly tiny!! I thank Bronson for saving my life and my daughters life that winters night 20 years ago!!
Ironically one week shy of 4 years later to day her little sister was born a month early by the same doctors! Went in due to her not moving and Dr. Lavery walked in and said “well we are having a birthday today”.
Thank you Bronson!!
