I said “Yes!”

Our little baby girl, Aubriella, was born at the Bronson Battle Creek BirthPlace on Sunday, October 6. She is such a beautiful baby.

When I got pregnant, I knew I wanted to have Dr. Mahmood Siddiqui, of Bronson OB/GYN Capital Ave., deliver my baby. Between my family and my boyfriend, Guy’s family, they had great things to say about Dr. Siddiqui so I knew he could be trusted for me and my baby. Throughout my pregnancy and delivery, Dr. Siddiqui has been great!

I have really enjoyed my stay at the BirthPlace. All the nurses are so nice and have been wonderful with Aubriella. I would also like to give a special shout out to Danyell K., on how amazing of a nurse she was during our visit! I am very thankful for having this team care for us.

Now, here comes the part that I did not expect (although Guy and I have talked about it for some time). On Monday, October 7, our nurse, Danielle, brought Aubriella to me, wrapped in a blanket. When I opened the blanket and looked at Aubriella’s onesie, it had “Mommy will you marry my daddy?” At that point, Guy got on his knees and proposed. And, of course I said, “Yes!”

This is such an exciting time for us and has been a blessing in so many ways.
