“I really like volunteering and talking to people.”

I started volunteering for Bronson in 1996, after a couple of my friends talked me into volunteering after I retired. I really like volunteering and talking to people.

I volunteer at the front inpatient desk at Bronson Battle Creek. It’s wonderful interacting with people when they’re leaving or coming to the hospital. It’s a pleasure to have them talk to us while lend a listening ear. Everyone has things on their mind and in their heart and sometimes it’s good to have someone to talk to, which is why I enjoy what I do.
