I hope when it is your turn, you will

Mallory Riashi, Registered Nurse

Hello! I just received my vaccine and it was a wonderful experience! I’m so thankful to everyone who made this process run so smoothly. As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse, I get to see miracle babies living and thriving because of medicine and science. I am grateful and honored to be one of the first recipients of this COVID vaccine that will undoubtedly save many lives, and I can’t wait to see this miracle play out as well. I believe in science. I believe the frontline workers and those who have dealt with this virus firsthand who say this virus is NOT something you want to mess around with regardless of your age or health. I believe in all my brilliant fellow healthcare workers who are jumping at the chance to take this vaccine. I hope when it is your turn, you will also. Do it for yourself, do it to protect your family, to protect others, to help those who are struggling to feed their families and pay their rent. Let’s show this virus who is boss! Thank you science! Thank you Pfizer! (Now the whole world knows…YES, there really is a Kalamazoo 😉)
