I feel very strongly that I can lend a helping hand to people in our community

The reason I donate to United Way is because I feel very strongly that I can lend a helping hand to people in our community who need a little help to get where they are going in life. I have always been fortunate to have a loving and supportive family who have helped me out of tight spots on more than one occasion, but I realize not everyone is as blessed as I am. There are wonderful organizations that the United Way contributes to that fill this need for many who are down on their luck and just need someone to believe in them and lend them a helping hand.
