I experienced what we all strive for

Melody Salisbury, Employee

Yesterday, while working as greeter at the new Bronson Cancer Center in Kalamazoo, I experienced what we all strive for. I was screening patients and their family member when I suddenly got busy with patients coming in. While working through the line I noticed an older gentleman with a cane getting a wheelchair to for his loved one. Another person waiting for check-in saw him struggling and left her loved one to help him get his loved one into the wheelchair and helped them inside. It so touched my heart that they gave so much, when leaving the facility they stopped at the door and left a stool to be used to help her get back in the truck. It so touched my heart, that they thought so much of someone else and their struggles to leave their own stool to help another.
