I can’t thank the facilities department enough for going above and beyond

I have been an employee here for 9 years and recently had the unfortunate luck that my car was significantly damaged in the parking lot while I was working. Security called the unit I was working on to notify me about the accident. When I went to assess my car, it was very obvious my car was not drivable in the condition it was in at that moment. Security had offered the facilities department to come remove my bumper so that I may be able to drive my vehicle home. When I went to my car at the end of my shift expecting my bumper to be gone, I noted instead that it was duct taped up and again made my car drivable so I could go home. I can’t thank the facilities department enough for going above and beyond to not only help me get home safely, but to make it look semi-presentable on the road. They even cared enough to call the next day and make sure I made it home safely. Thank you for the little things that really made a bad situation much more manageable.
