I cannot express how thankful I am for the staff in Critical Care
My wife came in for obstructive bowel which required immediate surgery, she also tested positive for Covid. Surgery went well, placed in the Critical Care unit for recovery. She had a pre-existing lung condition which required close monitoring due to many bouts with pneumonia. Her condition went downhill shortly afterward. Came to a point that recovery outside a miracle was not seen possible. All through her stay in CCU, the staff kept in daily contact with me appraising me of her condition. The hardest decision I’ve ever made was them to remove the oxygen. Her soul went to Heaven almost immediately after. I cannot express how thankful I am for the staff in Critical Care, their professionalism and their true heartfelt compassion during this entire journey.
