I applaud each and every one for their commitment to the care of children in our community

Like many hospitals across the country, over the last few years, Bronson Children’s Hospital has seen an increase in pediatric patient boarding for mental health concerns. I would like to highlight a collaborative effort that culminated in a comprehensive Clinical Practice Guideline that is aimed at optimizing equitable care for our patients while ensuring staff safety. This collaboration included members who devoted their time to share their input and I applaud each and every one for their commitment to the care of children in our community.

Thank you to our art therapist Meg Weryha, nurses Lindsay Luyk, Holly Diebel, our social worker Sonia Zeyl, and Dr. Nicole Fledderman, along with the leadership of Donna Moyer and Mandy Santman. Our children’s hospital is very lucky to have each of you, along with our entire staff.
