I am blown away by the time you took with him to explain everything

To the doctors and nurses that helped my son,

I wanted to write you to share my gratitude for the extraordinary care you gave to my son. I am blown away by the time you took with him to explain everything in ways he would understand and try to calm him down as he was so anxious.

This was his first experience in a hospital setting and he keeps talking about how much he loved you all… how you fixed his arm and he’s so thankful for you. You gave him trust and comfort and you will never understand how much that means to me!

On my end, you all kept this nervous, emotional mama calm… explaining to me what to expect and telling me it was normal to have my crazy emotions… and to Nurse Becky… who came out to make sure I was ok in the waiting room before she had to go… thank you so much! You made me feel so much peace knowing my son was being treated by people that truly, honestly and deeply cared about us all!

I can’t thank you enough. I hope you all know the impact you make on people beyond the medical!
