Her skills benefited all of us and have made BBC a better place

Today, we recognize Kathy Latty for her deep and visible commitment to our values:  Respecting all people, Building trusting partnerships, Promoting a healthy workplace, and Raising the bar.

This Winner Wednesday reflects my personal appreciation to Kathy for her support, mentoring and leadership during my years here at Bronson Battle Creek (BBC).  Kathy retired from BBC this past week after 47 years of service.  At her retirement tea I spent some time with former CEO Pat Garrett, several trustees, and many employees – and discovered the significant assistance Kathy provided to many others as well.  Her skills benefited all of us and have made BBC a better place – and her strong example of respect, trust, teamwork and continuous improvement was visible in her attitude and work every day.
