He took extra time to alleviate our concerns

Myra Poston, Family Member

My father was taken to the emergency department (ED) and admitted to the cardiology unit. After a difficult couple of days my family received the worrisome news that he was being transferred to the MICU. The severity of the situation was hard on our whole family and our first nurse at the MICU, Brennan L., made the experience better than we could have asked for. He was extremely attentive and comforting, not only to my father but to my sister and I. He explained the situation every step of the way and made sure we understood everything that was happening and answered every question we had. In such a scary time we felt much more comfortable knowing our father was being cared for by Brennan and confident that his needs would be met. We are thankful Brennan was his nurse in MICU.
