Thanks to everyone providing the healthcare needed today and more importantly during what is yet to come
Today my wife had what may have been the last elective surgery at Bronson Methodist Hospital before elective surgeries were canceled due to preparation for Covid-19. This made for a unique situation as the hospital and staff was transitioning to even higher precautions than the hospital’s already world class standards. Some may find the add layers of precaution as overkill, obtrusive, or restrictive, one of these precautions was only allowing one visitor into recovery and then only if the patient is being admitted. My wife was not being admitted, therefore I was only allowed into recovery for discharge purposes. Neither my wife, Melanie, or I felt anything but grateful for these precautions. I wanted to write to share our thanks to the hospital, but mostly to those healthcare professionals who are risking so much to provide the healthcare needed today and more importantly during what is yet to come. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
