Everyone is important in patient care
Dear people at Bronson,
About 18 years ago, I had the privilege of working as a patient care assistant (PCA) in the cardiac unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital. I have wonderful memories of that time!
What I most remember was the way everybody worked together to achieve the best results for the patients. It didn’t matter if you were in housekeeping/environmental services, PCA or nurse – everyone is important in patient care! I hope that that is still the same. I loved working with the elderly from Holland. It made them happy to be able to speak together in Dutch.
As a nurse in the Netherlands now, I use my experiences every day! Keep up the good work and get vaccinated. Thanks!
