Every team member welcomed me with open arms and went above and beyond

My husband was recently a patient at BMH, first through the emergency department (ED), then admitted to trauma care unit (TCU) for a 10 day stay. Many thanks to Dr. Hartman and Dr. Maltz for their expedient care while in ED. He then was transferred to TCU where he had exceptional care by Dr. Walsh and Elizabeth D’Angelo, NP. The nurses in TCU were above and beyond caring and professional. Many thanks to Josh, Austin, Alexis, Anna, and of course MacKenzie(!) (who was his nurse for several shifts). During his stay an incident occurred that required immediate attention, fortunately Dr. Medinilla was right there and handled everything with efficiency. He had several other nurses as well as PCA’s care for him who were also amazing. We were both truly impressed with the care he received while admitted to this dept. Alaina, you’ve got a talented group of staff members in your dept. I’ve been a nurse at BMH for the past 21 years. It often can be difficult caring for a patient with an RN family member. This was certainly not the case. Every team member welcomed me with open arms and went above and beyond with their care and compassion. I’m proud to be associated with Bronson and happy to share this story.
