I am 81 years old and came into the hospital in Paw Paw scared and alone. Upon getting to my room on the second floor, I had the same PCA that I had during my first stay. Her name is Carol. I remembered what a wonderful person Carol was and how she impressed my with her care the last time I was here. She is an A-Team person, plus a people-person.

On this second stay, I badly needed a bath. she stepped right up to help. Then she brought me fresh, warm blankets for my bed. She talked me through some of my toughest times. She helped make my journey here the most comfortable possible. Thank you, Carol!

Carol Neudeck is a PCA on the general care unit (GCU) at Bronson Lake View Hospital. She is the recipient of the 2022 Sunshine Award, which is given each year to team members who help our clinical staff provide exceptional care for patients and families.
