Brad’s solid attention to detail may well have saved the patient’s life

Today we recognize BBC Emergency Department (ED) tech, Bradford Ray, for being accountable, speaking up, and paying attention to detail.

Recently, Brad was starting his shift as an ED monitor tech and was reviewing the rhythm strips which record patient data. Brad noticed a shift that indicated the possibility of a cardiac incident. The ED physician was informed and additional tests confirmed a cardiac issue. Brad’s solid attention to detail may well have saved the patient’s life.

Congratulations to Bradford Ray for raising the bar and being fully accountable. And thanks to staff across Bronson in all departments, whose attention to detail makes a big difference in the lives of our patients and families.
