As a nurse navigator, I am an educator, an advocate & a friend
My career began 15 years ago at Bronson Battle Creek. For the past 10 years, I have been a part of the amazing team at the Cancer Center here in Battle Creek. Both at the Cancer Center and across the entire Bronson system, we are truly dedicated to providing exceptional care and positive outcomes.
As a part of the Bronson Healthcare System, I feel incredibly valued and supported. As a member of the cancer care team, I feel like I am constantly surrounded with positive energy, kindness and a “how can I help?” attitude.
Bronson has given me the ability to work my way from a nurse tech position to my current title of oncology nurse navigator. My wonderful coworkers along the way shared their knowledge and guidance to help me grow. The tuition reimbursement program is giving me the opportunity to continue my education and complete my master’s in nursing education. I am very grateful.
As an oncology nurse navigator, I am the single point of contact for our cancer patients and their loved ones. I help them along their cancer journey by removing barriers and bridging gaps to provide seamless continuity of care. In this role I am an educator, an advocate and a friend. I am very proud to be a part of Team Bronson!
