A burden has been taken off our loved ones

Marsha Irelan, Volunteer

My husband and I were given the opportunity to meet with Chaplain Woolky to discuss an advance directive. This informal meeting provided a relaxed atmosphere in which we took inventory of our end-of-life wishes. Tears and laughter were present along with relief. A burden has been taken off our loved ones. A plan is in place for our wishes to be carried out. I feel this has been the best gift I have ever received. I am able to die with dignity. My husband and I are presenting this gift to our family at Christmas dinner. It’s our added gift to them.  We also are encouraging them to develop an advance directive for themselves.

Thank you Bronson!
